They even accommodated us for early check-in, which was so helpful. The spacious and clean rooms are well-maintained, with a homely feel and attention to detail. The separate bedrooms provide privacy and the basic amenities are all in place. The location is very convenient, being very close to the village and within a short drive or a pleasant 15-minute walk to the shops.
Everything was satisfactory.

The entire experience was enjoyable. Coffee at crosses, set within 10 minutes' walk, was the best for dining. Location, a short way from all attractions. There was free parking...

We were pleased with the location of the hotel, which was close to shops and restaurants. the staff was very friendly and welcoming, providing us with everything we needed during our stay. The room was very clean and well laid out, with comfortable beds and a nice view of the gardens.
We did notice that the hotel was a bit outdated and in need of refurbishment. The room's decor was old-fashioned, and the lack of sound insulation made it difficult to sleep at night due to the noise from the nearby road.

the location was great, just a short walk to the town centre with plenty of restaurants and shops to choose from. the room was very clean and tidy, with nice modern decor and furnishings. I appreciated the complimentary tea and coffee making facilities with some nice biscuits too. I had a very comfortable and pleasant stay.
The only downside to my experience was the limited free wifi. I would have appreciated a bit more download allowance as I needed to do some work online, but it was still adequate.

We enjoyed the excellent service from friendly and helpful staff. The location was perfect, with easy access to the village and sports centre in Hastings. The hotel facilities were great, including swingball and a green area for kids. We appreciated the clean and fresh linen and towels, and the spotless suite. The bed was perfect too.
Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes.

The motel's location is very convenient, with several shops and restaurants within walking distance. the village is not far away, and it's also close to the town centre, allowing easy access to the many attractions of Hawkes Bay. the rooms were well laid out and spotlessly clean, with fully equipped kitchenettes and comfortable beds. the service was impeccable, with the friendly hosts going above and beyond to accommodate our needs. the pool was a great addition to cool off in the afternoons.
The Wi-Fi allowance was limited, and we had to go to a nearby coffee shop for unlimited access.
